The Aimless

PicsArt_09-01-09.15.17

What is it that you desire?

You’ve been at the highest edge

And just pulled back from a fall

You’ve swam the deepest seas

And been rescued from a drowning call

Why is it only threats, you admire?

Oh, tell us…

What is it that you desire?

You’ve had your ways with devils

And almost lost your morals

You’ve been with saints and angels

And lost them to bitter quarrels

You keep burning and refuse to get out of fire

Oh, tell us…

What is it that you desire?

You keep stepping on every stone

You keep climbing each hill

You’ve kept your soul so restless

That everything you do is now your will

You wish to feel every feeling that’ll ever exist

You want to keep moving,

Unlike those lost in the mist…

I guess, we’re too blind to see what you aspire…

Don’t tell us, for we’ll never understand

What it is that you desire.
